About Project Management

Project Management is the discipline of organizing the elements of a project such as the development of a new software system, migrating to a new data centre, a marketing campaign or a holiday party. A project is not part of normal business. It is typically created once and has a beginning and an end. Projects may contain phases such as design, development and implementation. Project management aims to ensure the project meets its stated goals on time and within budget.
