Switzerland Tops List Of The Highest Average Salaries For Cloud Tech Jobs

Switzerland topped the list of countries with the highest average salary for cloud tech jobs, at $133,326, with the United States in second place with an average of $114,772 and Australia in third place with $102,423.

Other countries in the top ten are Canada at $89,475, the United Kingdom at $777,076, Ireland at $75,547, Singapore at $71,351, Germany at $69,392, Japan at $65,888, and France at $47,645.

While Switzerland led the way in cloud tech salaries, other countries in Western Europe did not fare well in this regard. Italy came in last with an average of $32,053, Spain came in 13th with an average of $42,085, and Belgium finished third-worst in the rankings at $46,056.

The highest-paid role in cloud tech on average was found to be Technical Consultant, which earned an average of $161,000. Within the top three highest-paying jobs, Salesforce/nCino Solution Architect was the second highest-paid of the three highest-paid jobs at $157,938, and Program Manager finished third at $142,500.

For cloud tech jobs, the highest paying roles varied across the 14 nations surveyed. In Switzerland, the Account Manager/Account Executive, IT Director/CIO and Program Managers are the top earners.

In Australia, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Project Manager and Mulesoft Architect earn the most. In the U.S., Technical Consultant, Salesforce/nCino Solution Architect and Program Manager earn the most on average.
