South Korean Internet portal operator Daum Communications Corp. is negotiating with Terra Lycos SA over the acquisition of Lycos Inc., Daum said Friday.
“We are considering acquiring Lycos,” Jody Jung, a spokeswoman for Daum, wrote in an e-mail to IDG News Service. She declined to provide any further details of the possible acquisition, which she said is currently being discussed and negotiated.
