McAfee Tries to Stop Virus Plague Cold

According to Carlsbad, Calif. based research firm Computer Economics Inc., viruses accounted for over US$12.1 billion in business loses in 1999, worldwide. McAfee, a Network Associates Inc. (NAI) company, plans to help reduce those numbers with its next generation, e-business virus security solution, McAfee Active Virus Defense (AVD).
