Acer NeWeb Blue-Connect

Acer NeWeb Corp. has announced a Bluetooth 1.0 wireless network module for the Visor. The company’s Blue-Connect module, which also fits in the Springboard slot, lets Visor users transmit applications or synchronize data with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, including desktop and notebook PCs, digital cameras, and mobile phones, according to an Acer NeWeb statement. The company expects to ship Blue-Connect in the second quarter of this year, priced below US$100. Acer NeWeb is in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan, and can be reached at
