Study outlines compliance control framework

A recent survey has identified common compliance threads and enabling technologies that provide a framework for managing information security and technology risk in a more proactive and cost effective manner.

Reymann Group, on behalf of Ottawa-based Third Brigade Inc., identified the underlying compliance threads in current legislation, rules and guidelines pertaining to a broad range of industries.

Companies that focus on complying with these common threads are managing risk cost effectively and achieving compliance by default, the whitepaper said.

Regulations reviewed in the study include PCI, HIPAA, and SOX.
