Quebec firm gets Big Blue nod for mainframe audits

IBM’s iSeries AS/400 mainframe is set to get a new auditing engine, the company confirmed today, announcing that the CSC2 application from the Boisbriand, Quebec-based security services company Above Security was tipped for the gig.

This will aid companies in reaching their compliance goals, helped along by the product’s compatability with a wide variety of standards, including Sarbannes-Oxley, HIPAA, GLBA, and Basel II.

Audit information is centralized, sorted, compressed, and then presented to the user for analysis.

CSC2 can also generate alerts and take automated action against perceived fraud.
