Microsoft offers free Office 2013 upgrade

Microsoft Corp. is dangling the possibility of a free upgrade to Office 2013 in front of would-be Office 2010 buyers.
 
 
According to this ComputerWorld article, the company announced that customers who purchase Office 2010 between Oct. 19 and April 30, 2013 would be eligible for the “Microsoft Office Pre-launch Offer.” Those who buy Office 2010 professional can also try out Office 365 Small Business Premium for a three-month period or Office 365 Home Premium for a one-year term.
 
Microsoft has not officially announced a launch date for Office 2013 and Office 365, but they are expected to come out early next year, the article says.
