Look to the past, see the future, says Cisco

Speaking to a gathering of systems integrators in Cancun, Mexico, a senior Cisco executive said Wednesday that those who view the Internet as old news should bone up on their history.

Howard Charney, senior vice-president of San Jose, Calif.-based Cisco Systems Inc.’s Office of the President, outlined in his opening keynote address at the Global System Integrator’s Congress (GSIC) on Wednesday night what he predicts will happen during the next major technology stage.
