Label print program supports Windows 2000

LabelShop V5 delivers the ability to create and print colour as well as monochrome labels, tickets and tags in-house.

The Intermec Technologies Canada Ltd. software helps design labels that can be printed on any Intermec printer, including the Intermec ColorCoder V4 printer. Companies can print full colour labels on demand.

LabelShop now supports Windows 2000 and it automatically selects a printer’s heat setting when using Intermec stock labels. This version also has a redesigned interface.

It is available in five different varieties, from the new START version, bundled free with Intermec printers, to the PRO version, for those needing more capabilities, such as the development of command files for use in host systems.

LabelShop runs in any Windows environment and can print to multiple printers simultaneously. It supports Windows TrueType fonts and includes ODBC support to connect to existing corporate databases.

Pricing for LabelShop (www.intermec.com) was not available at press time.

Intermec in Mississauga, Ont., can be reached at 1-800-268-6936.

Prices listed are in Cdn currency.
