Eloqua ties marketing apps into Oracle’s Siebel

Eloqua Corp. is appearing at Oracle’s annual OpenWorld customer conference in San Francisco this week to show how it has tailored its marketing automation software to work better with the database giant’s Siebel customer relationship management product.

The combined product would allow enterprise marketing executives who use Siebel On Demand, to receive real-time information from Eloqua’s Conversion Suite on how a campaign is performing or how many leads have been converted into sales. Like Siebel On Demand, Eloqua offers hosted software that looks at marketing activities across e-mail, direct mail and other forms of marketing.

The company said tighter integration of Eloqua’s product with CRM tools from Siebel, which Oracle acquired two years ago, would allow users to do a better job of tracking sales revenue against what’s being spent on marketing. Eloqua offers Conversion Suite in Enterprise, Team and Express versions.
