Canadian BI firm Blink Logic aims at field service

An Ottawa company’s hosted business intelligence applications are being integrated with a software program used by field service technicians.

Blink Logic on Tuesday said it had been chosen by Fieldpoint Service Applications Inc. to offer reporting and analytics in its eponymous service management product. The integrated offering, which the two companies call Alert Analytics, will offer on-demand business intelligence (BI) to Fieldpoint customers to assess call centre volume, employee utilization and other key performance indicators. Both companies base their software on Microsoft’s .Net technology.

While Blink Logic offers its product as an on-demand model, Fieldpoint offers both subscription and on-premise options.
