Burlington Parks: Swimming and Dancing and Other Fun Stuff

Background

Parks and Recreation authorities in the City of Burlington – a community of 138,000 on the shores of Lake Ontario – deliver recreation programs at arenas, pools, community centres, a seniors centre and a music centre. They sought to equip all these remote locations with software to assist with program registration and facility booking services. Those services range from providing the public with information on the various programs and bookings (such as space available) to providing staff program and booking information (such as class lists and daily schedules) through to actually taking registrations and bookings (at some locations). The program registration and facility booking services are highly dependent on a program registration and facility booking application and an end user query tool.
