Adobe announces Google and Yahoo Flash partnership

Adobe announced yesterday that it would be providing its Flash Player technology to search giants Google and Yahoo to enhance search engine indexing of the Flash file format.

This partnership will allow searchers to find content that was previously undiscoverable, and will save developers the hassle of amending rich Internet content to make it searchable.

Google has already begun to incorporate this into its search engine, while Yahoo expects to feature it in the next iteration of its engine.
