FOSS Force launches final round of voting for annual favorite Desktop Environment Poll

FOSS Force, a website dedicated to Free and Open-Source Software, has announced the start of the final round of voting for its annual “Favorite Desktop Environment” poll. This year’s poll features six finalists, including GNOME, KDE Plasma, XFCE, Cinnamon, Mate, and LXQt.

According to FOSS Force, the purpose of the poll is to provide a platform for the community to express their opinions on the best desktop environment available, and to help new users find a desktop environment that suits their needs.

The poll began with an open nomination process in which readers were invited to submit their favorite desktop environments. The six finalists were then selected based on the number of nominations received. The final round of voting is open to everyone, with no registration required.

Readers can cast their votes by visiting the FOSS Force website and selecting their favorite desktop environment from the list of finalists. The poll will remain open until March 31, 2023, and the results will be announced shortly thereafter.

The FOSS Force “Favorite Desktop Environment” poll is a popular annual event among the Free and Open-Source Software community, and the results are often eagerly anticipated by users and developers alike.
