LAS VEGAS — Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HPQ) wrapped-up its 2012 Global Partner Conference on Wednesday with a keynote by new CEO Meg Whitman, following the launch earlier in the week of HP's new Gen 8 ProLiant servers and Z1 all in one workstations. After a year of what Whitman called “drama” at the vendor, the new CEO and her leadership team had a tough job at this conference. Was it mission accomplished for HP? CDN assistant editor Jeff Jedras was joined by Paul Edwards, research director with the London, Ont.-based Info-Tech Research Group, to discuss that question, and more.
