In a refreshing release about a tech person actually being hired (instead of laid off), EMC announced today that it has appointed Harel Kodesh the new president of EMC’s Cloud Infrastructure Business.

He’ll also be acting as CEO of Decho, the new subsidiary focused on personal information management in the cloud.

Previously, Kodesh worked as chief products officer at communications company Amdocs, and held several Microsoft jobs as well.
