Workday adds time-tracking to its suite

Among the useful cloud-based applications for organizations is Workday, which offers a human resource, payroll and financial management suite. This week the company updated the application to include a time and attendance monitor.

According to this story from Computerworld U.S.
, the Time Tracking module lets staff input their hours on the job instead of forwarding a report to another official to do the work.

The company says in a news release that the self-help way should reduce errors and costs.

Other improvements include a simpler interface for the suite, improved display of financial results, and improvements to the way uses can input expense data.

Workday has a payroll module for Canada.
