Work ethic a generational conflict catalyst: study

A recent survey found that 40 per cent of human resource (HR) professionals have observed conflict among employees as a result of generational differences.

The Alexandria, Va.-based Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) 2004 Generational Differences Survey asked HR workers about how employees from different generations work together, the quality of their work, types of conflicts, retention factors, and strengths and weaknesses of each generation.
