Who needs a silly old CPU anyway?

This Canadian pilot fish recalls a time when a user called the help desk with an urgent plea: “Help, my computer is giving me critical errors and I need someone to look at it right away.”

After going through regular troubleshooting procedures, help desk determined that the motherboard in the user’s computer was failing and needed to be swapped. Fish was sent over to do the job.

User watched as fish unplugged everything from the CPU. Says fish, “As I was heading down to our repair centre with the CPU in my hands, I happened to notice the user staring intently at her monitor while pounding on the ‘Enter’ key.”
