VIDEO: Using business intelligence to sell more lingerie

Montreal-based lingerie vendor, La Vie en Rose Inc., embarked on a three-year business intelligence journey that involved consolidating business processes, data and eliminating “Excels from hell.”

The company’s vice-president of business technology, Madeleine Doucet, whose role is to bring the right technology to support the business’s strategies, tells ComputerWorld Canada about centralizing data across the 155 stores nationally.

She also details how each individual retail store benefitted from customized analytics revealing peak traffic periods and the opportunity to leverage data to increase sales.
