Teranet acquires law software maker

Toronto-based Teranet Enterprises Inc. announced Monday the acquisition of real estate law office software maker Do Process Software Ltd.

Teranet currently offers land-based information products and services, which includes providing access to the Ontario Electronic Land Registration System, to its clients. President and CEO Aris Kaplanis said that acquiring the Toronto-based Do Process will help the company provide a more complete suite of services to Canada’s broader legal community.

Do Process’ Conveyancer software integrates online title insurance ordering and is currently used in about 2,300 law offices across Canada.
