Tech in 2 Minutes: Sony

In this episode of Tech in 2 Minutes, ComputerWorld Canada heads down to a Sony of Canada Ltd. launchevent in Torontoto take a look at the new Reader Pocket and Reader Touch. Both are touch-screendevices with 2GB of memory, which is enough to hold up to 1,200 digital books.The higher-end Touch edition comes with dual expansion slots for up to32GB of additional memory and can play MP3 and AAC audio files. The ReaderPocket retails for $199.99 and the Reader Touch for $249.99. Memory expert andspeed reader Dave Farrow, a Guinness World Record holder, was also on hand forthe event and began a 17-day living and reading stint in the front window ofthe Sony Centre.
