Government officials from across the country have called for a comprehensive review of research on e-government issues with an eye to additional research in four key areas.

In a response to recommendations from the annual Lac Carling Congress last May, members of the public Sector Service Delivery Council (PSSDC) and the Public Sector CIO Council (PSCIOC) noted four priority research areas:
