Taking your cloud program to the next level

Does your organization need a roadmap that takes your cloud program to the next level, that sets you up for the future? Saying “yes” is only your first step, and from there a great deal of hard work is required. But roadmapping your cloud future need not be a daunting task. In fact, it can all be quite straightforward.

The most recent CanadianCIO Census survey revealed that almost seven out of 10 CIOs felt that cloud was “meeting or exceeding their expectations.” While cloud implementations often generate immediate benefits, many companies are not exploiting the full benefits. Meanwhile, opportunities abound in the form of software-defined scale, automation, software-defined networks, containerization and serverless, and Kubernetes.

A cloud roadmap is the way to go, and many enterprises know it. A clear, well-defined roadmap may not push an organization’s cloud journey into hyperdrive; every enterprise should and must move at its own speed. Nor will a roadmap define a set-in-stone course as every leadership group must make its own decisions on how cloud will be used going forward. But a roadmap can and will provide a framework, one that helps ensure decisions made to solve needs today will continue to pay dividends tomorrow.

On November 6th, ITWC CIO Jim Love will be joined by TeraGo’s dynamic duo Chris Taylor, VP, Product Development, and Anil Kanwar, Solutions Architect, for “Future-Proof Your Cloud Map.” In this informative and interactive session, Love and guests will explore such topics as:

  • What’s trending in cloud right now
  • Your personal vision for cloud, and how you measure success
  • Key issues that might be holding you back
  • What companies that “exceed expectations” are doing
  • Tips to ensure your cloud map sets you up for the future
