canada.com, an on-line shopping mall, has introduced a Canadian credit card geared for on-line shoppers. The co-branded canada.com MasterCard from canada.com and Bank of Montreal allows Canadians to shop at participating canada.com retailers such as chapters.ca, clubmonaco.com, HMV.com and MegaDepot.com.

Cardholder benefits include free delivery of items, 10 per cent off the retail price of goods purchased on-line at retailers in the program, as well as the opportunity to earn Air Miles on every purchase made. There are no special passwords or PIN numbers for users to remember. The first six digits of the credit card identify it as a canada.com MasterCard.

On-line shoppers can apply for the card when visiting or shopping at canada.com, at www.bmo.com/mastercard or by filling out an application inserted in The National Post or other Hollinger newspapers.
