Samsung Instinct comes to Canada

Samsung announced today it will offer its Instinct wireless handset – dubbed “iPhone killer” by some bloggers – in Canada this summer.

The device includes a touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard. Samsung did not say which carriers will offer the handset.

The Instinct lets users browse the Internet and download content over an EVDO Rev A network. It also has GPS navigation and a 2.0 megapixel camera. The device also lets users listen to music while they send text messages and access Web-based e-mail. The camcorder lets users store up to six minutes of video.

Software includes a personal organizer, notebook and calendar.
