Paragent 3.0 keeps a remote eye on network systems

Muncie, Indiana-based IT services provider Paragent LLC today released version 3.0 of its remote desktop management tool, which aims to facilitate monitoring, control, audit and policy enforcement around network data.

With Paragent 3.0, IT administrators can remotely access a computer on the network to fix critical issues, run diagnostic and maintenance programs, and assist users with complex tasks.

It also includes integrated search throughout the application, proactive alerting and a ticketing system to track support issues.

The company recently announced an open source version of its remote desktop management tool.
