McAfee forms alliance with nine security vendors

Santa Clara, Calif.-based McAfee Inc. announced Monday its partnership with nine third-party security vendors to form the Security Innovation Alliance program.

The list of vendors include Absolute Software, Application Security, Inc., Bit9, Inc., Guardium, LogLogic, Palamida, Q1 Labs, Raytheon Oakley Systems and Voltage. McAfee said the technology partnering program will accelerate the development of interoperable security products and simply the integration of those products for the end-user.

The agreement will allow the partnering companies to integrate with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator a platform which allows enterprises to centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors.
