‘s AutoTwister gives 10Mbps Ethernet networks the ability to connect over longer distances. According to Lancast, AutoTwister connects disparate 10Mbps LANs by using fibre optic connectivity solutions and 10/100Mbps rate adaption in a single unit. The new unit will incorporate Lancast’s Link Loss Return, which notifies management stations in case of fibre failure.
