Deutsche Telekom posts 3.9Beuro first half loss

German telecommunication giant Deutsche Telekom AG (DT) Wednesday reported a net loss for the first half of 2002 that was almost ten times greater than the net loss it posted last year. The company attributed the loss to depreciation and amortization relating to newly-consolidated companies.
