Canadian IT industry layoff resource centre launches

The global economic recession that has already led to thousands of layoffs inspired ComputerWorld Canada to create a one-stop landing page for everything IT staff affected by job cuts may need to move on.

Our Canadian IT Industry Layoff Centre will feature regular coverage of the technology firms and other corporate enterprises who are downsizing to save costs, videos with experts on career management and links to local employement lawyers and recruiters. The micro site will also offer quick access to our IT Job Universe employment site and quick tips on making the most of a challenging situation.
