Being called to the podium at the 2003 Canadian Information Productivity Awards came as a major surprise to Bruce Fleming, VP and CIO of construction firm EllisDon Corporation.

When the CIPA gala was held last November in Toronto, Fleming accepted the Diamond Award of Excellence for best project. Then Andy White, president of IT World Canada, presented him with the CIO Canada Award, honouring the IT executive who helmed the overall best submission.
