Barb Kieley accepts position with Treasury Board Secretariat on 2-year interchange

Effective January 30, 2006, Barb Kieley assumed the position ofSenior Assistant Secretary responsible for the TransformationAlignment Office with the Treasury Board Secretariat.

Kieley will be responsible for establishing, managing, andoperating the TAO.

The Office’s purpose is to lead an integrated approach tointernal and external service transformation across the governmentand ensure that all of the transformation initiatives are alignedto support the Government of Canada’s Agenda.

The Office will work proactively with TBS Sectors with keyresponsibilities for individual transformation initiatives and alldelivery leads (Service Canada, CAS and PWGSC) to put into placethe enablers to ensure alignment to support the successfulimplementation of each transformation initiative.

The role will be a two year assignment, through the InterchangeCanada Program, after which time Kieley will return to the privatesector.
