serves up new Conyx server

KVM switch and server management hardware manufacturer’s new Conyx 16-port Enhanced Console Server is now available, the London, Ont.-based company recently announced.

The device gives consolidated access and control of all the local and extended networks’ connected serial consoles on UNIX, Linux, and Solaris servers; routers; switches; PBXes; telecommunications equipment and power distribution units.

Other features of the new product include a DHCP client, offline data logging, out-of-band access, port triggers, and SSH tunneled serial bridging.
