Intel applies itself to networking

Intel Corp. is best known for its processors which power a majority of the world’s PCs and servers. However, the company also has a networking division that develops a variety of network infrastructure products. Network World Canada’s associate editor Michael Martin recently spoke with Sean Maloney, senior vice-president and director of sales and marketing for Intel, while he was in Toronto to deliver a keynote speech at February’s Internet World and ISPCON Canada 2000, about the direction of Intel’s networking efforts.
