Clavister

IP security and unified threat management vendor Clavister AB announced today its new world record in network security throughput.

The privately-owned Swedish company has tests that prove that its new technologies can achieve plaintext throughput beyond 500 gigabytes per second, and IPsec VPN throughput beyond 200 Gigabytes per second.

According to the company, this achievement will benefit companies dealing with the demand for complex data traffic (including HDTV). It will form the foundation of its upcoming Clavister Security Service Platforms, which are scheduled to hit in the fourth quarter.
