Interview: Anton Granic, Nutanix Canada’s VP of U.S. Northeast and Canada

Editor’s note Dec. 19, 2017 — Anton Granic is now the vice-president of U.S. Northeast and Canada for Nutanix. When this interview was conducted in 2014, he was the senior director. Our headline was updated to reflect this change.

As part of an analysis on the new hyper-converged infrastructure appliances, we interviewed Nutanix Inc.’s Anton Granic about the company’s products and strategies.

Nutanix was the first of these companies, a startup challenging the major storage companies. Others followed including SimpliVity, Pivotal3 and Scale Computing. Major equipment manufacturers including IBM, Hewlett-Packard — with its recent ConvergedSystem 200 — and VMware  — most recently, with its EVO:Rail product — are getting in the game.

The full analysis is here.

We most recently report on Nutanix’s NX-9000 all-flash appliance here.
