Dave O’LearyIn addition to leading and advising tech startups since 2000, Dave has served as a CIO in the Canadian Post-Secondary system. In that role he led early adaption of VOIP and the virtual work place using video and web conferencing. Dave also moved significant critical technology to the Cloud leading to greater reliability and efficiency. A believer in giving back, Dave is the President of the Canadian Information Processing Society of British Columbia. He also serves on the Professional Development Committee of the Practitioner Board of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and is the past chair of the Canadian National Council of Deans of Information and Communications Technology.
