Bob Humphreys is IBM Canada’s Country Leader for Demand Programs & Digital Strategy where he is responsible for driving the business pipeline across all of IBM’s lines of business.
Bob has a 20 year history in leading marketing teams across IBM & the consumer packaged goods industry. He has worked in roles as a brand marketer, category management, consultant, strategic planner, market researcher & customer experience evangelist. Of late, Bob has focused on the application of predictive analytics & Big Data to help optimize & transform how his own team generates marketing yield & builds its future competence. Bob has been referenced in a number of articles, the latest being a discussion of IBM’s use of advanced analytics in Eric Siegel’s book Predictive Analytics: The Power to Predict Who Will Click, Buy, Lie, or Die. In addition to his IBM responsibilities, Bob is also the chair for the Canadian Marketing Association’s CMO CIO Collaboration Task Force whose mandate is to define the Canadian governance & partnership best practices occurring today between the Marketing & IT functions.
