AMD says its imminent purchase of Canadian graphics chip vendor ATI Technologies Inc. will enable it to create integrated products for the mobile computing and consumer electronics markets. From 2008 onwards, AMD plans to offer a new range of integrated processing and graphics chips for custom applications.
