SLIDE SHOW: Networking exec moves, adds and changes

Avaya Inc. has brought in two outsiders to lead the company. Last June, it hired Charlie Giancarlo as its interim chief executive officer, who is scheduled to be replaced by Kevin Kennedy in January.

Kennedy is currently CEO of JDS Uniphase. Giancarlo was executive vice-president and chief development officer at Cisco Systems Inc. before he left the San Jose, Calif.-based manufacturer in 2007.

A year after Giancarlo left, Cisco lost another senior vice-president, Jayshree Ullal, who has since taken over as Arista Networks’ CEO.
