New outsourcer opens doors in India

BANGALORE – Cipher Dynamics IT Services, a new systems integrator and business process outsourcer, has opened its doors in the Delhi suburb of Guragaon.

The company, which has an office in New York City, offers a wide array of customized solutions to Canadian and American companies for verticals including media and publishing, financial services, retail and hospitality, according to CEO Alan Kahn.

“India has witnessed burgeoning growth in these sectors and a number of mid-market companies have come up in the recent past,” he said. “Through our direct office operations here, we not only intend of to leverage on the business opportunity but also further our commitment to India market.”

Kahn is also president of InterDyn, an Microsoft Dynamics integrator with has more than 30 locations worldwide and some 3,500 customers. Prior to forming Cipher, Kahn was the founder and president of AKA Consulting Services, Inc., a company specializing in business process analysis, software selection, strategic management consulting, and financial re-organization.

Cipher will work with customers and their business partners to provide services that span from strategy consulting to implementing, development and deployment of IT solutions specifically around the Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft collaboration and business intelligence solutions.

Our strategic insight, rich industry expertise, deep resource pool and technical prowess allows our clients to leverage a full scale service team of experienced developers with a proven track record for best returns on their investments,” said Rinku Wadhwani, the company’s managing director.

Cipher said it offers lower development costs by providing a blend of local and offshore resources optimized for the client’s specific needs. It focuses on mid market, a segment it says has traditionally not received attention from global outsourcing players and enhances the ability of mid market companies to compete effectively.

Cipher also offers a consolidated business solution for media companies, DynamicsADvantage, to allow them to consolidate disparate systems, leverage Microsoft technology, and make integration and reporting easy.
