I like number 7: Good, Fast Cheap – Pick any two, but you can’t have all three.

But arguably the most valuable is number 11: Be wary of buying into vendor hype. “If you keep a cool head, you’ll be able to tell the difference between old ideas and truly new concepts you should pay attention to.
