Women in IT leaders celebrate triumphs, tackle challenges

The first ever “women in the IT channel” event took place in Toronto on Tuesday, with conference goers meeting to discuss the successes and challenges of women working in tech.

The event, sponsored by Ingram Micro Canada and hosted by CDN, drew in women of all ages looking to share their ideas on how educational institutions, business and government can promote the “cool factor” of women in IT.

IT World Canada covered the event and spoke to several speakers and attendees throughout the day.
