Awards ceremonies tend to go longer than expected, but in Corinne Charette’s case, there were only minutes left for her to accept the inaugural CIO of the Year award before she had to run and catch a plane.

The Treasury Board Secretariat’s top CIO was on hand last month at ITAC’s second-annual Ingenious Awards, which also honoured Brenda Hoffmann, CIO for TMX Group, as the country’s most accomplished technology executives.
