Mobile device management demand growing

With senior executives and sales staff using laptops and smart phones out of the office, most organizations have a mobility strategy. However, according to this article from Network Computing, industry analysts say
that strategy often suffers from what they call “compartmentalization syndrome.”

As a Gartner analyst puts it, “They’ll look at mobile applications or they’ll look at mobile security or they’ll look at mobile device management, and they don’t look at the whole thing together.”
 
That’s why increasingly organizations are turning to service providers and system integrators for outsourcing mobile management.  This article shows why this trend is growing.
