In Conversation: Telecom regulation reform

It’s been a busy month in Ottawa on the telecommunications front: colourful confrontation at a CRTC hearing into how incumbent carriers should share their networks with new providers, a maverick recommendation by the Senate on how to spend money from spectrum auctions, and an industry committee divided on party lines on the issue of telecom ownership regulation reform. Network World Canada assistant editor Howard Solomon explains.
