Bradford announces network threat protection

Bradford Networks has announced Network Sentry/RTR, a new solution it says allows organizations to contain advanced network threats in seconds.

Network Sentry/RTR creates a live inventory of network connections that integrates with firewall and threat detection solutions to automatically correlate high security alerts with compromised endpoints. By automating the complex threat triage process, Network Sentry/RTR minimizes the risk to corporate assets and intellectual property, the company said in a release.

Sold as an appliance, virtual appliance, or cloud service, Network Sentry/RTR sees  all wired, mobile and VPN endpoints to automatically identify and control every device, the company said. It correlates the IP address provided by the firewall or threat detection solution to compromised devices, users and applications and automatically acts on a non-compliant, compromised or risky endpoint including blocking, restricting or remediating the device. IT staff are notified in real time based on pre-defined security policies.

“In today’s cyber threat landscape, companies need to move from a strategy of solely focusing on prevention to one that enhances detection and rapid response,” said Tom Murphy, Bradford’s chief marketing officer.
