Final release of IE10 for Windows 7 coming soon?

There are still lots of bug reports plaguing work on Microsoft Corp.’s Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7, but some observers of the company say the Redmond, Wash-based software maker is poised to roll out its final release of the browser.

The Web site ZDNet.com quoted what is said was a private email from Microsoft officials to a select group of testers which hints  that the IE10-Windows 7 build will be the last build that developers will work on before the browser’s public release.

Microsoft has not commented on the report and IE 10 on Windows 7 is still officially in “release Review” status.

The public feedback Web site for IE 10 records a wide variety of bugs indicating that that there may still be a lot of work before a final release is shipped out, according to Computerworld.com.
